Our Kite Center has perfect location with direct entrance to the Lo Stagnone lagoon. Its sandy Beach, Launching and Landing Area, Chill Out Zone, WI-FI, Bar, Shower, Toilette, Storage and Parking create complete Background for every Kiter.
Lo Stagnone is located in the West Part of Sicily island between Trapani and Marsala, only 10 minutes from the Trapani Airport. Thanks to the constant Wind, the shallow and flat Water offers the Stagnone Kite Spot perfect conditions for Kitesurfing Lessons, Beginners, Freestyle and Freeride.

Sicily Kite Spot – Lo Stagnone Lagoon
Lagoon Lo Stagnone is situated in the west part of Sicily Island in between Trapani and Marsala cities. The Lagoon is determinated by a long island from the north west called Isola Grande. The Water is flat and its depth is usually in between 30 and 150 cm. You can always walk back to the beach if needed. The bottom is a mix of sand and mud. Further from the beach is growing grass and some sea weed.
Lo Stagnone is one of the most famous kitesurfing spots in Italy. Also the PKRA competition took a part here.

How to travel to our Kitesurf Center in Lo Stagnone – Sicily
1. You can FLY!
Fly to Sicily from any of many European airports. You can choose from 3 Sicilian airports:
- Trapani – your best choice – we will pick you up at the airport and in 10 minutes you will be at our kite beach or in one of our apartments.
- Palermo – cheaper flights from more destinations – we can still pick you up at the airport for 40€. There is also BUS connection between Palermo airport and Trapani Airport where we can pick you up for free. Bus schedule
- Catania – cheap flights – Catania airport is 320 km from Lo Stagnone. You will have to rent a car and drive 3 – 4 hours. But you can make it as a cool road trip as well.
2. You can take the FERRY!
Drive by your car and take the Ferry from Genoa, Livorno, Civitavecchia or Naples. To find the ticket we do like to use: www.aferry.com

Course w/ Iggy (Flyin’CircusKiteboarding) @ KiteSeason spot, SicilyThe spot is located by the shallow but large lagoon near Trapani (Sicily, IT) so there was no deep water what’s a great option for beginners. The spot was well equipted by latest kites, boards and everything you need for the kiting. Everybody would have a great background there. Iggy is a pro instructor with, the whole course he had smile on his face and calmly interacted in every situation. He explained everything and learning from him was easy-to-follow. I did a great progress and started to ride within the first day of the course. The second day was about riding, upwind riding and turning.
